"So... we keep an eye out," he says, because that seems to be the only option available to them. Really, though, he's the only one who can keep an eye out. Sam hadn't seen the man or the fuzz growing on her clothes, which leads Mathias to believe Lucy wouldn't have seen them either. And it's not likely anyone else will be an exception to that.
