"Ah, I understand," Mathias answers with a nod, his gaze flickering down briefly to his legs. They've always been long, but he's never been a woman before and it's only now that he's noticing just how long.
"It makes sense. I would hardly be willing to make an exception if I'd come here today as normal and you were a boy," he continues with a small grin. That's not entirely true either, he thinks he would have kissed her anyway, had it been right, but he's never been particularly interested in men.
