"The box," Mathias says seriously, although he's smiling. "That is what I always refer to that thing in the basement that tries to give me exceptionally inappropriate underwear." Every time he goes down there, it's the same thing, and he's had to work long and hard to have anything even resembling a wardrobe.

"Maybe we should let Sam choose," he continues. "It would be her room, after all." If Veronica had decided against moving in, it would just be an extra room, but since they seem to be going ahead with it, it's Sam's room.
