"Danny?" I call, sitting back on my haunches, both hands scrubbing down across my face as I heave out a calming breath.
"I think I'm gonna have to go get somebody. How bad's he hurt?" I need to know what to tell them when I get there, but there's no way I'm getting down there. Even if I could, I don't see how the two of us'd get Mathias out without ropes or somethin'.
