"See, we never really had any place like that in Louisiana," Sookie explains in kind, thinking about the most crowded she's ever seen any place in the area. Fangtasia's probably the only place she could see the parking lot filling up in full, and even then, after the initial rush of curiosity, people's interest changed on the whole from curiosity to a latent fear that few chose to face. "We had a couple of popular bars, but on the whole, if you had to get somewhere, all you had to do was drive. Maybe you'd run into traffic here or there, but parking wasn't usually a problem. Most of the time, you decide to drive, and you can keep up for hours without anything gettin' in the way."
