Mathias laughs, not entirely surprised, really, but amused all the same. "Well, I can't promise you free drinks with diving, which is usually for the best," he teases gently, though he knows how lovely first class can be. He and Henrich had gotten drunk on a good number of flights during their years of traveling together, Henrich getting louder and louder until he'd pass out, Mathias finding himself more and more grateful that his brother passed out so quickly.

"I'm not much of a free diver," he admits, knowing how dangerous it can be. "But I've let the council know that I have this equipment, that if they should need a diver for anything, it's available. I'm available. I think there are other people on the island who dive, too. Maybe even some who free dive." He thinks he's seen it now and then, but it isn't something he wants to do and he doesn't know enough to teach anyone.
