"Oh, no," Veronica replied, waving a hand dismissively, "when the giant lizards spotted us, they just wanted to have a nice chat over a cup of tea." She shrugged her shoulders, coming to a stop for just a moment before turning, walking the line she was fairly certain was the fence or close to it. "There were a few injuries, some more serious than others. No fatalities, though." Not that time, at least. As ever, it was the humans who had proved more dangerous in the end.
