"Oh, charming," Veronica said, rather than actually answering. It had come differently than she'd meant it, but there was that in there, too, that spark of worry. God only knew why, because she sure as hell didn't, anymore than she wanted to think about her mom or Logan. Of course they'd be the first thing to pop to mind, she thought.
