The hill isn't particularly large and when the men see their latest additions are making for the top, they relax. Their bows are lowered, arrows pointed into the dirt and for a moment, only the man with the rifle remains. Mathias looks down at him, the very face he saw every day while he was trapped on that hill, then turns his attention to Julie and John.
"They've stopped shooting!" he calls to them. "Now that you're climbing."
