Readily taking the flippers and tucking them under her arm, Claire keeps a good pace with Mathias; though he's significantly taller than she is, Claire's spent enough of her life trying to keep up with her father's brisk step, easily adjusting her walk to match. It never ceases to amaze her, how easily people can come to meet and get to know one another on the island, and whether or not it's because she finds herself missing Peter more than she can express, having someone of his age is no small comfort.

"Um... kinda?" Claire answers after some hesitation, nose wrinkling and a barely contained grin on her lips.
